I should confess, here and now, that whilst this website allows you to contact me - and sign up to my mailing list https://patrickcmeehan.com/mailing-list - I can assure you I will absolutely NOT be bombarding you with ‘stuff’ any time soon. 

I have never been much of a social-media animal. Whilst s/m has its uses, I find much of it feels like a kind of mental poisoning, and has little appeal.

 And, as the writer George Saunders said:

“Social media doesn’t want you to think for yourself or spend time alone with your thoughts. It instantly turns you into some kind of animal, some kind of monster, a ferocious version of yourself that automatically has an opinion on things you know nothing about.”

Also, a great deal of my time now is given to considering other writing projects – which roll in tandem with my songwriting and recording projects.
